Welcome to Glenwood School

Welcome to Glenwood School!  We are very excited about the 2011-12 school year.

Glenwood is a special place filled with caring adults who are committed to helping students grow, learn and reach their full potential.

We provide a safe and supportive learning environment to meet students’ academic and social-emotional needs. We incorporate Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) systems, which teach positive behaviors.  Our staff models positive behavior and reinforces this behavior among students.

Our work with our educational partners – Marquardt School District 15, Glenbard Township High School District 87 and the Cooperative Association for Special Education – ensures that students are on track for graduation and success after they leave school.

We take seriously our partnership with parents and encourage parents to be involved in their students’ education. When students understand that their parents believe in them and want to help them succeed, they achieve greater academic success.
